Marina Bay Yacht Harbor and Craneway Pavilion in Richmond are the hot spots in the sailing world for the four-day Strictly Sail Pacific boat show. In its 21st year, the show has moved to Richmond this year with hopes of evolving along with the City of Richmond in the years ahead. This internationally acclaimed boat show is the largest and oldest on the West Coast and touts all the latest sailing gear, hardware, accessories and products. Brands are introducing new boats and water sports!
Hobie debuted their new Mirage® Eclipse – another of Hobie’s “world’s-first” -watercraft. Just as they did with kayaking, there’s no more fussing with a paddle on this paddleboard. Your feet and hands control the board. Makes it very easy to learn. Just step on and go. Watch this fun watersport in action.
Throughout the four days there are free seminars on over 90 topics from outfitting your boat to sailing destinations as well as advanced sailing techniques sessions. You can even learn to sail with their on-the-water-hands-on sailing lessons. There are stand up paddleboard races and remote controlled sailboat races. Strictly Sail Pacific is open from 10am-6pm through Sun., April 10.
