The Malediction Manor Haunted House Eerily Awaits You!

Dare to peek inside the mad doctor’s MALEDICTION MANOR: Almanac Beer Company’s first-ever haunted house! This terrifying tour of epic frights is free to attend and no tickets are needed for entry. However, please note that content may not be suitable for persons under 13 years of age, and parental discretion is advised.

Hours:

  • Sat, Oct 29, 6:30-9:30pm
  • Sunday, October 30, 5:30-7:30pm

Haunted house sound too spooky? Don’t worry, Almanac will also be hosting a family-friendly costume contest on October 29th from 6pm to 9pm. Adults, kids, and pets can all join in on the fun. Come strut your stuff on the costume runway for the chance to win CASH PRIZES! Judging begins around 6:30pm.

NOTE: The haunted house is set up in the lounge area of the brewery so the main taproom and beer garden will still be open regular hours. As always, there will be food trucks!

Chef Rudy’s offering up a weekly lunch/dinner program with menu items changing weekly. Here’s how it works: three ready-made meals for two people or six ready-made meals for one person. You select three entrees which includes one salad and focaccia. Order by Friday. Pickup on Tuesday. It’s only $13.33/meal or $80. Imagine one of those times where you see that the following week you have back-to-back meetings and events. Order by Friday. Pick it up on Tuesday and you are set! Plus, a wonderful dinner to look forward to when you get home.

This week’s sample menu includes three salads and seven entrees, including lasagna,  pizza sausage and radicchio, vegan pizza with mushrooms, vegan risotto with saffron. risotto with saffron & chicken, pizza with mushrooms & olives, ravioli with porcini cream sauce. Many of us grew up as fans of the Beatles and sadly, John Lennon left us early. Join Rhythmix Sunday, October 9 from 7-9pm for an intimate acoustic celebration of the life and music of John Lennon.

Drew Harrison of The Sun Kings presents a loving, emotionally charged retrospective of the life and career of John, one of the most popular artists of all time, told through stories and songs from The Beatles years through the final recordings of his life.

Gifted with the most natural, effortless Lennon voice in the music world, Harrison has been performing John’s songs and weaving the tales and anecdotes that go along with them for nearly two decades.

Drew will be accompanied on piano by the talented Tommy Cosentino to further enhance this acoustic celebration of the music of John Lennon on his birthday!

Enjoy a Brew in Island Comfort as you Rack your Brain!

Join the Brainiacs on Tuesday, September 13, and test your brain in a fun Head Games Trivia night. It’s Alameda Island Brewing’s inaugural Trivia Night hosted by Head Games Trivia, California’s only live multi-media trivia game. Get in the know!

Teams can be up to six persons. So drum up your friends now and have a pint of your favorite brew while you put your head to work.
