Food Truck Mania Hits Vallejo’s Waterfront
Bluesy tunes, gourmet food trucks, games for kids on the waterfront as Vallejo launches its new “Fourth Wednesday of the Month” Food Truck Mania event. Cool breezes off the water should make for fun and relaxing summer evenings. And it’s an inexpensive way (meals run $8-$12) to take the whole family out with free entertainment. The inaugural Food Truck Mania is Wed. June 22 from 4-8pm in Waterfront Park at 295 Mare island Way.
Sacto Mo Fo (Sacramento Mobile Food), who travels to 47 cities from Sacramento, is the event producer.
The preliminary food lineup for the Vallejo event includes Bacon Mania, Dogtown, Gaga’s Rolling Diner, Gameday Grill, Hefty Gyros, La Mex Taqueria, Wandering Boba, Cowtown Cremery, Kona Ice and a burger truck called Cecil’s Taste. The band? Park Place, a R&B band.
