The Experience, Richmond: El Agave Azul Night Out

By |Tags: , , , , , |0 Comments

The Experience:

It’s all about the Prawns!

Step into this warm and inviting Mexican restaurant with Jalisco inspired recipes and begin your Prawn journey. For an appetizer, start with the Tequila Prawns – Tequila-seared prawns, grilled corn, garlic, jalapeños, served on a sizzling skillet.

Order their namesake salad! This Agave Salad is made with mixed greens, tomatoes, onions, corn, black beans, tortilla strips and Prawns paired with their sweet Agave Vinaigrette, Ranch or Cesar dressing.

Next, make it Prawn Tacos – Seared prawns topped with lettuce, pico de gallo and chipotle aioli. Or try the Sizzling Prawn Fajitas. Prawns served sizzling hot on a cast-iron skillet with sautéed onions, bell peppers. Served with rice, beans and choice of tortillas. If you also like crab, you can opt for the Seafood Enchiladas. Two enchiladas filled with shrimp and crab, Monterey Jack cheese, grilled corn, covered with a creamy tequila sauce. Served with white rice and vegetables.

Of course you can also choose any of your other Mexican favorites from their extensive menu of classic appetizers and traditional Mexican plates.

Quenching your thirst may include a Traditional Margarita or a Cadillac Margarita made with Mi Campo Reposado, triple sec, orange juice, sweet & sour, lime and served with a mini-Grand Marnier bottle. There is also the Purple Cadillac Margarita made with Mi Campo Reposado, triple sec, orange juice, sweet & sour, lime and a Chambord float. As a full-service bar, they offer more than 120 Tequilas.

It’s a fun night out, in this wonderfully warm ambiance, no matter your choices! And don’t forget – Agave Azul has music the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month in the evening.
