The Experience, Emeryville: Honor Kitchen & Cocktails Lunch + Beyond

The Experience:

What are you doing for lunch? Honor the folks at Honor!

Lunch starts at 11:30am. If you haven’t been there since their re-opening, you are in for a treat. A remodeled bar/lounge area awaits you if you want to sip on a handcrafted cocktail or mocktail. Outdoors you can experience a fun beautiful sunlit atrium during the day which is transformed at night with jewel toned lights, outdoor fire pits and great leather furniture. You’ll love the vibe.

And the food! Chef Ray Wirtz is the creative chef overseeing the menu development and culinary execution for Honor Kitchen & Cocktails. Lots of menu choices. Stone Oven ‘Za section includes Marguerite, Hobbs Pepperoni, Wild Mushroom and many more pizzas! Outta Deep Blue section includes oysters and seafood cocktails, Gruyere Crusted Halibut, Fish & Chips and more. Lots of veggie dishes, salads and of course, the Carnivore Corner section of the menu. You’ll be sure to find your new favorites.

Lots of changes to Honor Kitchen & Cocktails inside and out, but the definition of honor remains the same:

HONOR (on-er) n. Honesty, fairness, or integrity on one’s beliefs and actions.  A source of credit or distinction. High respect, as for worth, merit, or rank.  High public esteem, fame; glory; the privilege of being associated.

This  unexpected Emeryville hole-in-the-wall will leave you feeling ‘Honored’!

Ready to make a difference one sip at a time? Ales for ALS Festival is this Saturday, July 27, 1-5pm (VIP admission 12pm).

ALS stands for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Also known as Motor Neuron Disease (MND), Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and Charcot’s disease, ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord resulting in the wasting away of muscle. At any given time, it is estimated that 30,000 in the US suffer from ALS.

The Ales for ALS™ Benefit the ALS Therapy Institute:

The folks at the ALS Therapy Development Institute believe that Drug Discovery Is what will end ALS. The treatments in the current clinical pipeline may slow ALS for some, but they will not be enough to end ALS. We need to discover many more treatments. The ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) is the largest drug discovery lab in the world focused solely on finding treatments for ALS.

Don’t miss out on this incredible event – get your tickets today and let’s pour hope and support into every pint!
