Rain or Shine. Weekend Wine + Tasty Bites!

Grab your umbrella, put on your boots and join the folks at Urban Legend in their tasting room and wine studio. Enjoy a warm, cozy space, tasty food and delectable wine. It will be an afternoon of deliciousness.

On Saturday, March 2 De la Calle will be serving up Tacos, Burritos, Tostadas, Guacamole & chips &  Salsa & chips. And then on Sunday, March 3, Crazy Empanadas, the family-owned Columbian food truck, will have all kinds of empanadas –  beef, chicken, cheese, vegan, and if you are really hungry, get the Fries loaded with Beef and Pork Sausage, Cheese and House Special Sauce.

Wine. Sparkling, white, rose or red. Limited production and there’s always something distinctive.You can have a glass of wine or do a wine tasting. Reservations suggested, but walk-ins are always welcome. And don’t forget to pick up your Alameda Trail Guide!

It’s going to be perfect weather at Alameda Point this weekend on the San Francisco Bay. Sunny and temps in the 70’s. You’ll have delicious food, great views and a wine selection to please any palate. Help Urban Legend welcome back Patio faves, Tacos de la Calle and Marty’s Joint, for a great taco or comfort food to die for.

Glasses & Bottles–Chill outdoors in one of their shaded pergolas or indoors in the wine studio with your favorite sip.

Tastings–Enjoy a curated tasting of 4 current releases with vegan/gluten free small bites. Indoor and outdoor options.

Kick off the weekend with their July 14 Friday Wine Down from 4-7:30pm with light nibbles available on-site–or bring your ownSips and sunsets–what could be better?

And you can enjoy some of the best this weekend out on the patio! Wine will be flowing.

To spice up those long winter nights and open up the doors to spring, Urban Legend released three great wine options!

Beso Ligero

Like the first bright red raspberry of spring, the airiness of a red balloon, and a

brush of love’s lips–that’s how they describe their bubbly Tempranillo.

’20 Sonici

It’s an explosion of flavor! Sangiovese, Cabernet, and Teroldego blend to make a delicious wine, full of deep black cherry flavors and perfect for an Italian or hearty meal.

Iberian Collection

Enjoy Grenache Blanc, bubbly Beso Ligero, and Cuvee Lola in a specially priced pack.

And, after a crazy weather week, celebrate a return to the sun with Urban Legend this weekend.

Timba + Salsa + Buchaca at the Winery!

Join the folks at Building 43 Winery for an evening of music, dancing and wine on Friday, February 3, beginning at 7pm

Timba, Salsa and Bachata music performed by two  hot DJs: DJ Anotoni and DJ Leydis. Try their great wines from the Sierra Foothills and enjoy some tasty bites from the food truck on site.

Shop local Bay Area artists, makers and vintage curators as you sip. Then settle in with beer or wine and some tasty bites. You’ll find jewelry, knit goods, home decor, metalworking, prints, soap, paintings, candles, and more unique gifts.

Note: The address numbers  are descending as you go down Monarch St  from Faction at 2501, Building 43 at 2440 and ending at 1901 Monarch at Dashe and Urban Legend. You can hang at Faction (Momolicious Food Truck serving) or Building 43 or you can reserve a tasting,  a glass or bottle of wine at Dashe Cellars and Urban Legend Winery (Alameda’s own C’era Una Volta is serving!).
