Ready to make a difference one sip at a time? Ales for ALS Festival is this Saturday, July 27, 1-5pm (VIP admission 12pm).

ALS stands for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Also known as Motor Neuron Disease (MND), Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and Charcot’s disease, ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord resulting in the wasting away of muscle. At any given time, it is estimated that 30,000 in the US suffer from ALS.

The folks at the ALS Therapy Development Institute believe that Drug Discovery Is what will end ALS. The treatments in the current clinical pipeline may slow ALS for some, but they will not be enough to end ALS. We need to discover many more treatments. The ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) is the largest drug discovery lab in the world focused solely on finding treatments for ALS.
