You can safely enjoy an al fresco cup of coffee, tea, beer or glass of wine at The Local Side Lot. Their sidewalk tables and parklet are located next to the public picnic tables set up on Alameda Avenue in cooperation with the City of Alameda and the Downtown Business Association. This community gathering place is following all health protocols to insure your safe visit.

Located in historic downtown Alameda, the Local is on the ground floor of the original Masonic Lodge that was built in 1891. This building has been at the heart of the community for over 126 years and you have a view from the outdoor tables while you enjoy their Smokin’ Fast WIFI!

The Local chose Mr. Espresso as their coffee roaster (owned by local Alamedans also) because of their commitment to quality and excellent line of coffees. They have a wide assortment of coffee types that are all unique and present real flavors for all kinds of preferences.

You can also order online your favorite Mr. Espresso Coffees or Teas, Veggie Bagel Sandwiches, Breakfast Burritos, Peruvian Chicken Wraps, Chicken Cranberry Salad, Tri Tip Wrap, Muffins and Croissants and more.
